If you've ever been to Haystack Rock, in Cannon Beach, OR, you might realize that this photo has been digitally altered. The sun doesn't set behind the rock this way, since my POV is south. I made this double exposure before I had learned about the app DXP, my go-to one for layering multiple images on top of each other. For this I used ProHDR to combine these two photographs. (It no longer lets you do this, which is a drag…) I was pleased with the Maxfield Parrish look I achieved.
