For “Self-portrait Saturday” this week I used some of the photos I’ve been taking of the fantastic fall colors. The trees are insanely beautiful this year, especially this one spot we drive home past every day. When it’s clear, the light hits them in such a way as to make the whole space glow. I’m usually too busy to stop and capture, but Saturday, I happened to pass by at that same magic hour, so I stopped to click away.

Maybe I’ll share some of the tree shots NOT layered on my mug so you can see them.
