I was walking out of my daughter’s room this morning and saw an interesting color and shape on the wall. The sunlight was coming through the window and hitting a green plastic piggy bank, which was then being distorted onto the wall in a beautiful way. I opened up the Hipstamatic camera on my iPhone to capture the scene. My usual “film” and “lens” combo didn’t do it justice, so I played around with a few combos until I liked the results. This is the Matty ALN lens with Big Up film. Obviously both of those distorted the actual scene, both in color quality and light streaks, but a lot of the magic was actually coming from the light through the green plastic. I love the faces that appear in the shadow. Do you see them?
