Venezia

As anyone who has traveled to Venice will tell you, it’s a truly magical place.  This was my fourth trip to the city, and while it has changed quite a bit since my first trip over 20 years ago (sometimes it’s hard to stomach the “Disneyland” quality of the tourist trade), it continues to enchant and inspire.  The light is different there, maybe because of the way the sun reflects off the green hues of the lagoon and canals or perhaps from the many marble buildings and piazzas.  It radiates heat and light.  These beautiful light posts are symbolic of that glow.
