Leading the Way

LaConner, a small tourist town and artists’ enclave in Skagit County, is a favorite destination of mine. I’m attracted to the town’s history, the landscape of wide open spaces, the galleries and boutiques that are housed in historic buildings on the waterfront. There are many such places around Puget Sound, but LaConner, being easily accessed by car, remains my favorite. The mid-winter’s sunset is made more dramatic, electric even, by use of double exposure.
